    Can't change my gamertag because it says that it's US only.


    I can't change my gamertag because when I try to change it, it asks me to update my profile address but it locks my region to the US (I'm not living in the US).

    Hold on I have another problem: When I try to change it I can't use the balance in my account to buy the change. Can you please help my find a way to use it to buy the change?

    Are you doing this on the website or console?

    If it's the website, it likes to default to the US region. You can change the region on the far bottom left corner of the site.

    If the gamertag change fails because the gamertag is taken, it is taken. There's a sticky post in this forum explaining that gamertags can't differ only by spaces, and somebody already has
    OG 6.
