Cant change my gamerpic

Ok i want to change my picture to my own picture on xbox but everytime i try it doesnt go through i read on a forum that because of covid they disabled the feature which is imo dumb because what does a virus have to do with changing your gamerpic picture
for a entertainment system at the comfort of your own home?? If everyone is inside why cant we as gamers change our picture whenever we want to? We pay for memberships gamepass etc. But cant change our picture? nevermind...The more i think about it the more
it Sounds like absolute nonsense but i guess they have their reasons i just hope they enable the feature again cause my cheeseburger eating a cheeseburger is getting kinda old now and i wanna put myself as my picture for my gt

They disabled it to help streamline moderation for things like the Enforcement team. The decision is explained briefly in an announcement pinned on the Xbox Support homepage online here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/

Maybe because of the violation in the past is why you cant change gamerpics now...

What julosjc mentioned could be a reason you are unable to change your custom profile pic, but the more likely reason is that Xbox has temporarily suspended the ability of users to change their custom gamerpics. You can go to beta.support.xbox.com for more
