    Can't change my child's privacy Settings?


    I want my child to be able to play online in Minecraft Java Edition, but upon trying to change his settings so that he can play, as I hover over over his Icon, it won't let me click onto his settings. I don't know if I'm in the right page, I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I straight up just cannot change the settings. We don't own an Xbox, but with the recent account Migration it all is acting strange for us. Can anybody help? Thanks.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Make sure that you're using the organizer account in managing his settings. Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family to validate if you're signed in under the organizer account then sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings to manage it.

    Xbox broadcasting problem

    Only an adult (parental account) can make the changes in privacy settings for a child account. The child account can't perform the changes itself.

    The account receiving the error is the actual adult account? or is the child account? child accounts can't change privacy settings.
