    Cant change gamertag to one that I used before


    Ok, so in short I had 2 Microsoft accounts = 2 Xbox accounts.

    Then I decided to change one of the accounts gamertag to the others, I did this by changing the name of the one with the name I wanted on the other account to something else. And it worked and it even said that that username is now available to be taken by anyone else. Now I tried to set the other accounts name to that name.

    However it now says it is not available? I wonder why that is as I used it on the other account for some time without issue. Now the gamertag does have a part that could look like a profanity in it but I dobut that as:

    1. It wasnt a problem until now,

    2. With the other parts of the name it doesnt mean anything.

    Also if you want a reason for me swapping a gamertag to another one of my account its because I have most of my games on the account without the name I want.

    My current gamertag is TheOiBoi#1560 and Id like to change it to FnaFakSk (the Fak alone could be considered a profanity but what the username really should mean is "FnaF" (Five Nights at Freddys), "ak" (in my language it is a suffix like "-er" in "gamer" or "player" so its like a "FnaFer" and "Sk" (an abbrevation for my country).

    Could you please help me with this? I dont mind paying the 9.99€ for it as long as it is what I want it to be.

    Gamertag Change?

    You cant change your gamertag to one that someone has/ or had. Its probably been taken before then the person who owned it changed his/her gamertag but even then you still cant use that gamertag.

    I've purchased a gamertag change using prepaid tokens.

    I was unable to change my gamertag on Xbox One as any other gamertag name didnt work except for the name I originally had.

    Thus I've been charged for Changing the gamertag to exactly what it was before i attempted to change it.
