Can’t change gamerpic cause not adult account

Hi, I have recently had some priblems with Xbox Live connection issues recently, and now I seem to be having trouble with my account set up.

Today I took a nice picture and thought of putting it as my new profile gamerpic, but when I tried to, it said that only adult accounts were allowed to such features.

My account, according to birth date, is an adult account, so it shouldn’t be saying it’s an infant account. Also, my current picture its already a customized one, which makes it evident that the account set up was changed recently.

The picture I’m trying to upload does not violet with the Code of Conduct, (it’s literally my face lol) so it shouldn’t be a problem, but it won’t even let me try because I’m not an adult??? Which, in fact, I am. :/

How do I upgrade the adult account into an adult account??

The adult account need to upgrade to adult or wait until the child account becomes adult in prder to change it...

It's not your birth date, that you can change under your MS profile but the way you first registered your account for xbox live that makes the difference. If you registered a child account, it will be so until the servers calculate that account has reached
adult age. Meanwhile only the parental account can change the privacy settings for a child account

In regards to the Custom Gamerpic, your account would need to be an adult account, not just set to adult defaults under your Privacy and online safety.

As stated in the support article for
Changing your Xbox One gamerpic, Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts. So if your account has a child DOB on it you won't be allowed to change it until the account is graduated to an adult account.
