Can't change email????????????????

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how to make the Xbox Console Companion App log in with one of your other Microsoft accounts. You can sign in to
the Xbox website with the email address and password of the first Microsoft account(the one being signed in to the Xbox Console Companion App). This will assign the account a gamertag and give
it a Xbox profile. The account will still have one free gamertag change as long as it has not been done before. At this point, you can sign in to the Xbox Console Companion App with the first account and follow the steps in our support article on

how to switch accounts. This will allow you to sign in with the second account's information. Be sure to let us know the results!

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on changing email. If her email is a Microsoft domain like outlook, Hotmail, live or MSN then you are unable to remove it completely. If you do it deletes the email entirely. The
one step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft
account. Note: If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available
to sign in to any Microsoft services.

Thanks so much. That was easy to do and accomplished what I wanted. I appreciate the help.

You can change a hotmail email. But once a primary email is set you can't change it to a different email provider. You will have to change the email from your first account to allow you to change it on your current account. Hope this helps
