Can't change default save location (Xbox Beta App)

Does your machine recognize those drives? As in, can you save other things there? If not, try finding them in your Hardware Manager and potentially formatting them (assuming you don't have any content on them you don't want to lose).

To change the default application, save location on Windows:

• Open the start menu (Windows Key)
  
• Open your "Settings"
  
• Open "System"
  
• Once in "System" select "Storage"
  
• Select "Advance Storage Settings"
  
• Select "Where new content is saved"
  
• Select the drive you'd like to save your apps to by default in the drop-down menu under "New apps will save to" (ex: Local Disk (C)
  

To change the default storage location in the Xbox app:

• Open the Xbox app
  
• Select your profile picture at the top right of the screen
  
• Select "Settings"
  
• Navigate to "General" on the left panel
  
• Select the drive you'd like to save your apps to by default in the drop-down menu under "Change where this app installs games" (ex: (C 320 GB disk space remaining)

when the xbox app updated it changed the default save location, move all the content from the original save location to the new one

Once you've done that, try restarting your PC afterwards to see if the Xbox app will recognize the games installed on the alternate SSD. It's pretty hard to pinpoint the exact issue but I believe it's in the disk backup process. If so, this may be a question that's best answered by a member on the Windows forum.
