    I can't get my new "Kinectless" Xbox One one to change channels. I have the remote -
    DO I NEED TO BUY AN RF cable
    or, should this work without one? Please help, I am going CRAZY!

    Xbox won't change channels

    My xbox one is connected to my vizio tv with my motorola dcx3501-m cable box. I have charter communications as my carrier. I am still able to control my tv with my normal remote when I am in the tv app, but i can't use oneguide to change channels. All my
    other commands work, such as fast forward, pause, play, etc., but I can't change channels without having to use my normal remote. any help is appreciated.

    Connecting My Dish Network reciever to Xbox One console...

    I'm can't change the channels with my voice or my controller. When i want to change the channel i have to get the remote, I tried everything, but it doesn't work. HELP!

    Why are you rejecting kinect

    I'm not so concerned about the privacy issues, although it does raise quite a few questions. I'm just not interested in the Kinect, period. I have no interest in motion controlled gaming, voice commands, waving my hands at my Xbox to change a channel,
    talking to my console etc.... If Microsoft would offer an Xbox One without Kinect then I'd be on board. Since the console doesn't work without it, I'm going for the PS4. Simple as that. If at a later date, Microsoft offers a Kinectless Xbox One, then I'll
    buy it.
