Can't cast phone screen to xbox.

It is possible that the options described in it are quite outdated.

Also, I remember that years ago there was this Wireles Adapter App ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/w...h=1&wa=wsignin1.0&activetab=pivot:overviewtab )
that I'm not sure it's what you are looking for, but it is worth a try.

I believe that was only a video casting from YouTube. If your phone and your console share the same network, the option for casting video will be available to your YouTube app on bigger screen like Xbox.

You can try it now. Simply watch any video from YouTube on your mobile and there's a cast icon (looks like a screen with wireless signal) you can click and choose the device that appears there which should be your Xbox console. Just make sure your YouTube app on your Xbox is opened.

That did it cheers. My other xbox doesn't have the wirless display installed and I have never had an issue with that one. Meh.. technology. Thanks again.

There is a Wireless display app you might need to install and run for it to show up as an available connection.

Give that a try, see if it shows.
