    Cant cancel xbox live auto renew


    Hello,

    I recently bought a xbox live gold card to extend my subscription and chose to turn on auto renew to get 1 month free.

    I then decided to turn it off but each time I try I get an error that say they encountered an error and I cant do anything else.

    I suppose it is a bug but if there is a solution that can help other people with that problem that would be great, otherwise I will have to call the support since chat seems unavailable.

    Canceling Auto Renewal

    My xbox live renews in two days and I cant cancel auto renew because my security information is updating.

    Why wont it let me cancel.

    Month on us but need credit card

    you cant as it will need to auto renew at the end of that trial unless you cancel, if you want live then use prepay xbox live cards for convenience.

    No, you cannot cancel auto-renewal over the internet. Please see the following link:

    "To turn off auto-renewal or cancel your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, please call Xbox Support."
