Can’t cancel security info change I didn’t order

Someone is trying to change my security info and I can’t cancel it because my account is under my old phone number, and I can’t find my old phone to see the code it sends me for verification. It says that the security info will automatically change when
30 days is up and once it’s changed my account is forever stolen. I called microsoft support and they took me to a account recovery request thing and they said after i submit a specialist will email the alternate account i put in. I still havent gotten a response
and im worried that i wont get one before the 30 days is up. Someone please help me.

Ok thank you and when the specialist emails my alternate account will i have to give them this request ticket number that i got?

Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with a possible account takeover. If you are have spoken to an agent they have assured you about being reached out to by a specialist, please wait until you are contacted. Even if the account
change goes past the 30 day change, the specialist will be able to recover your account if your information is verified.

The thing is I can’t get into the account to do that they changed my password and everything I tired account recovery they said I didn’t provide enough info I need genuine help

I see, unfortunately if the order was cancelled there is no way to change where did you receive the money (this applies even if the order wasn't cancelled and you want a refund)

This is for security reasons

Unfortunately since you have changed too much security info you will have to wait the 30 day waiting period in order to do certain things with your account. There's no way around this except cancelling that request, and if you can't access your account
without changing this info, you will have to wait the 30 day period.
