Can't cancel overdue Xbox Live Gold

For the past four hours I have been trying to cancel the subscription after it's overdue and I wanted to get Gamepass Ultimate for the $1 month "Trial" if you want to call it that. I have been back and forth from the automated voice message on the phone
to the Xbox Support page being a Catch 22.
P.S. Before anyone responds "You have to pay the fee to cancel it" I don't have the money for it right now but I have $5.01 from the first $15 Xbox gift card to buy my first month

You would need to go to http://support.xbox.com/contact-us and request a call back or chat with support. If you don't see those options, change your category/topic until
you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

Every time I call it sends me to xbox.account.com which in turn sends me to "Contact them directly"

You would have to contact support directly to see if they can do it, otherwise, the only way to do it yourself is by paying off the overdue balance first.
