Cant cancel downloads or delete games.

Please try the steps one at a time to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Reset the Microsoft Store app.

Open settings by pressing Windows Key + I

Select Apps and on the left pane select Apps and features

Locate Microsoft Store and click it then select advanced options

Scroll down until you see the Reset button and click it

Kindly wait for the procedure to complete then restart your computer and check if it works fine now.

Solution 2: Troubleshoot the issues of the Microsoft Store app.

Open settings by pressing Windows Key + I

Select Update and security

On the left pane select Troubleshoot

Scroll down until you see Windows Store Apps and click it then click Run the troubleshooter

Kindly wait for the procedure to complete then restart your computer and check if it works fine now.

I did manage to cancel the download by disconnecting from XBL, which allowed me to delete the update and stop the loop. It's seem like the problem is not with the patch, many XBL users are having problems downloading content for other games as well.

My account region are matching the same physical location but is a bug when the download content is cancelled the next game in queue start a new download cant re download the first cancelled at 90%

I also cant "cancel download" or "download now"

Never cancel an update, only ever pause it.
Cancelling it results in the entire game being deleted, thus requiring a complete new download of the whole game again.
