cant cancel download on xbox application on pc

3. Select Apps & features.

4. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.

5. Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.

I also cant "cancel download" or "download now"

I have the same error.

My pc started acting up this morning so I reinstalled Windows 10 64 Pro from scratch and patched it to newest security patchlevel.

Afterwards I could not install the xbox game pass pc application. It fails everytime with the same error 0x803FB005

I managed to get the application installed using a different link for "offline" installation. Cant remember where I found the link. When starting Xbox (beta) application a message say that an important component is missing (being gaming-services) and it
will try to install it.

In the store download queue the download fails with the code 0x803FB005

I have tried the powershell commands as suggested in this thread:

But the problem persists.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

It may be a problem with the browser, try using it from Microsoft edge or download and install the Xbox application on your pc.

same problem, but for me the download does not want to start, it remains in the preparation phase and after 30 seconds it cancels itself .. this happens after I close the application when the download was at 15 gb, I cannot solve in any way, I tried all the solutions found on the web and I don't feel like formatting the pc for just one game.
