    Can't buy subscription to EA Access via credit card


    I always get the error "PBR9002" if I try to add an EA Access subscription. But I could buy an xbox one game today without any issues! What's the problem here???

    EA Access can only be purchased via credit card/paypal or by purchasing a prepaid EA Access subscription card from a retailer. Currency on your account cannot be used to purchase third party subscriptions.

    Will Xbox Live Gold Cards work with EA Access?

    xbox support via twitter told me that EA Access requires something that can be renewed monthly or annually....basically they want debit or credit so they can just auto charge you if you forget about it

    That error message usually comes due to region locked market places. Meaning if you try to buy something from a marketplace outside of your current country.

    Is your Xbox set to the same country that you currently live in?

    Yes, it is, as I said, I could buy and Xbox Game just before I tried to buy the EA Access subscription.

    Then i would contact support directly either via phone or live chat and get the issue resolved. They can examine your account and make the necessary fixes that way.

    Currency from gift cards can only be used to purchase games and other content. It is not set up to work with a recurring subscription so it cannot be used to buy gold and it does not work with third party subscriptions so it won't work for EA Access. You
    would need to purchase subscriptions via credit card/PayPal or buying a prepaid gold or EA Access card.

    Sorry, but it's not possible to purchase an EA Access subscription with Xbox currency. At this time it can only be purchased via credit card or Paypal. They will sell subscription cards in the future.

    I used a payment option "use a code" for EA Access. I put $30 in my account when I did that.

    EA Access can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal. They will have prepaid cards sold in stores at some point, but for now that is the only way to purchase it. It's not possible to purchase third party subscriptions with currency in your Microsoft account.
