    So I wanted pre-order MW 2 2022 with a gift card but every time it says please try again later and I restart my console multiple times but nothing. Also sometimes it says_You cant buy this game with a pre paid card 10 days before release?

    You can't buy a gift card with funds in your Microsoft account balance. That would be essentially buying a gift card with a gift card. You would need to buy a game or other content in the store and use your account balance as the payment method.

    Keep in mind you do need to own mw II, 2022 to upgrade.

    You can't buy the upgrade without the base game

    As some people have tried to refund the base game to get the cheaper vault upgrade not realizing that you need the base game to upgrade from
