    I got a promotion for an Xbox Live Gold for $500 (clp), but when I try to buy it appears that I need other payment method instead of my Microsoft Points. Help please.

    The money that you were charged are just for authorization purchases and will be refunded after about 24-48 hours.

    you can't buy memberships on any service without a credircard regardless it even says a valid payment method is needed also your currency says cannot be used for membershilp

    If you mean prepaid membership cards you can but you have to buy membership cards but those don't qualify for promotions

    it will most likely be a governement issue eith your side, the US or both.

    Microsoft would probably love to provide for more countries its just they can't with all due to political issues most of the time.

    Just to clarify, you don't have any issue adding payment methods, only when you try to buy points? Have you tried purchasing on both Xbox.com and the console? Do you get any error message/code on the console?

    Well i've tried both on this site and on the xbox and on both i can choose the credit card i want to use but it still shows the same error message. I am going to wait out this day and some of the next to call anybody.

    Yeah, right now i can't add points because of the same reason as AkumaisRyusDad but i guess i will wait for a bit to see if it somehow fixes before calling anyone.
