Can't block somebody.

I have somebody permanently stuck to my account the gamertag is [mod removed] this person can't be blocked muted or removed can anybody help or has anyone been having the same issues i've literally tried everything even reported him.

Anyone can be blocked

DONT respond it will unblock them.

Yeah the block/mute function seems rather iffy for some reason. It wasn't always like this, I have no idea which update seemingly messed it up. Through this forum I was made aware that if you reply to any message from somebody who is blocked, it unblocks
them. That seems crazy to me because if you BLOCKED somebody, you'd assume they can't send you messages at all?

I understand your frustration, and the only short term fix I can think off is to delete them from your friends list, and then set your profile so that only friends can communicate with you.

No I never answered my own question. If you read carefully, I said I know what to do to unblock somebody. Then I asked how can I unblock somebody when we've blocked each other? This means I explained that I know how to unblock somebody when he hasn't
blocked me. This means things are harder to deal with when we've blocked each other because if I send him a message, invite or friends request, he won't get either of them so that I can unblock him, same thing visa-versa if he tries to unblock me. I was
asking if there's another way to unblock somebody when he's also blocked me, such as, is there a block list for me to unblock him from or can I unblock him by contacting Xbox Live?

Message them before you do anything. They could be somebody you know under another Gamertag or just somebody you've played with looking to make friends. If you're not happy with the outcome, block them.

i blocked communications with somebody, and then deleted them. can they still get a hold of me or talk to me?
