    I am not able to purchase anything using my XBox Live Account

    I get this error message "Can't authorize the selected payment option. Please select a different payment method or add a new one."

    Do you have enough money in the account to cover both the cost of the item plus your local taxes?

    Further to Onyx' suggestions, if you're actually trying the transaction from the website, you should try from a console. The website does not yet work with the MSA currency, but from a console you should have no issues.

    I am paying from console and I have enough for both transaction and tax still doesn't work

    That error is from xbox.com, on the console it says "Can't authorize the selected payment option. Please select a different payment option or add a new one." "Enter www.xbox.com/account"
