    Can't authorize credit card


    I tried to buy Premium for Battlefield 4 today and it just tells me to find a different way to pay for it whenever I try. I have no idea why because I bought DLC for Rockband 3 last night and it worked fine, and I've bought games on my Xbox One last month
    with no problem. It tells me the same thing if I try to do it on Xbox.com. Deleting my card and putting it back on didn't do anything either.

    Unauthorized payment

    Today 2 payments of 19.95 were taken out of my credit card. I did not authorize it. Also I can't remove a credit card payment because it says I have a renewable payment attached to it but I don't. Someone please help

    Hi there,

    they can't be used to buy xbox live gold memberships as a payment option.

    See the text at solution 6 at this link:
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-credit-card-authorization-failure

    It states that debit cards can't be used at this moment.

    I suggest using the debit card to buy a xbox live gold subscription prepaid card at a local store

    Following on from the post made above :-

    This might help also, some other reasons why authorization errors occur:-

    The credit card has not been activated.

    The credit card was declined because of insufficient funds.

    The credit card can't accept online purchases.

    The card was reported as lost or stolen.

    The credit card company is intentionally preventing the card from being used.
