Can't approve child profile from parent account

This issue is that you can't promote the child account without approval from the parent account.

Was "my fault"... :|

checking the child permission, the first time, i saved the account under 'custom' profile, not child.

So, the account was 'protected' but i wasn't able to approve the friendship request...

When i set the account with 'child' profile, all the process go ahead like you said, Twylyght Myst, asking my approval (parent account passwd) when the child try to add a new gamertag.

is your account Child or Adult generally if the account is set to child your parents will need to allow you to play multiplayer you will need to be 13+ do play multiplayer with out parents approval they will need to access the account from the parent associated
account and the ywill need to give you the access you need

I wonder if you're using the right parental account. Just as the child account trying to approve itself will not create an error, another valid Microsoft account which is not the parental account would likewise not create an error message; it would simply
loop you back around to login again.

On the Xbox Console, when you go to Download Profile, and enter in the email and password of a parental account, you'll know it's a parental account because it will offer to let you download your own profile, or your child's. Try experimenting on the Download
Profile screen. Download different profiles you own (or accounts that could be your parental account) until one login pops up with the ability to download one of two profiles (one being your own). This will be the correct email and password to use to approve
acceptance of the Terms of Use.

I know it's a little meticulous, but it's all I can come up with at the moment.

Your son is on a child account. Its not a problem. It needs a parent to approve your son having an account by logging in to the parent account linked to your sons child account. If you don't know the parent account linked to the child account you can try
contact support directly at 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they may be able to find the parent account for you.
