    Can't add payment method because Puerto Rico dont appear as a state or country


    I am trying to add a credit card to buy the Gold membership but when it ask about state but Puerto Rico do not appear as an option. Also, I tried to change my country in the settings (Location) and Puerto Rico doesn't appear either. There is someone with
    the same problem? What can I do?

    I can't use my currency because I live in P.R.

    Puerto rico can't be used as a us state it's considered a different country

    In order to use it you need to have a us military address

    Unable to add/use payment methods fromPuerto Rico

    Puerto Rico also doesn't appear as a state in the USA anymore. I think this started with a recent system update.

    You should be able to change the region of your account with
    this page    . Puerto Rico should show up as it's own entry under the country list. Let us know if you're still having trouble there Can't add payment method because Puerto Rico dont appear as a state or country :)

    That is weird, even weirder how Puerto Rico is on there but not the CMNI. I'm wondering if the payment would go through with Puerto Rico selected. You also could use the "Pay with PAYPAL" option if you do that type of thing but I really think that MS and
    XBOX need to add the CMNI to the states list, even if the have all the APO on there.

    I have the same problem. I’ve had Xbox consoles since the og one, and never had this issue before. I’ve had consoles in Puerto Rico and Ohio, all on the same MS account and gamertag, with no issues until now.

    On the MS account site it says I have a balance with “multiple currencies”, $85 on USD and $0 on USD. On the console’s setting (Settings > Account > Payment & Billing > Payment Options) it lists my payment methods as my CC, PayPal, $85 Puerto Rico (USD), and $0.00 United States (USD).

    When I try to purchase a game, on the website or in the Xbox, it only lists my CC and PayPal as payment options.

    Puerto Rico is part of the US, uses the US dollar and isn’t a valid separate region anywhere else in the MS Store.

    Well I think microsoft have a bug or an inconsistency. I live in Puerto Rico. In my xbox account I can’t select PR as a country (appears as US State) so I have this account as US country account. In y MSFT account, PR is a country not a US state, and I set my account with PR as a country. Looks like Microsoft is taking my accounts as different countries, but I don’t have any option to use the same country setups. PS: PR should be treat as US State
