    Help please. I can’t log in or add new. All I get is a loading circle for a few seconds and then kicks me back into prior screen. I’ve hard resetted and kept all my games and apps I’ve also restarted by holding console button for 10 seconds and unplugging for 3 minutes nothing helps. But I do have a Events(beta) installation stopped message. Please help

    I know your internet is working fine with other devices but for us to best isolate the issue, can you try connecting the console to a different network? A mobile hotspot for example?

    Ah, i see. Thank you for your response i will follow those steps and give it a go, if all else fails i will contact the IT and see if they can sort it out. Thanks again for all the help i appreciate it

    thanks for getting back to me.

    Sure can, I looked around the forum for those with similar issues to mine and I tried the simplest of solutions such as:

    Disconnecting from the network and reconnecting, then trying to log in.

    Unplugging the power supply and starting the console back up to attempt to reconnect & log in.

    Simple restart.

    Restart/reboot of the xbox whilst keeping apps & games.

    I disconnected my internet, and tried connecting with my phones Personal hotspot, then attempting to add new account and each solution I have tried always brings me back to the 'Try again later, There was a problem, and we could not continue. (0x80a40019)

    I removed my account from the xbox, and tried to add it again by clicking 'add new' and the same error, again, returned.

    I have also tried the first of two steps you have so kindly advised me to try. I unfortunately do not have the means to access the other settings, as I am not in control of that due to living in student accomodation, if that may be the problem I'd have to
    get permission to check or change such things. (But my xbox has been working with that connection for a good while, so it would surprise me if there were to be any immediate changes without warning)

    As such, I am so far pretty sure it is not a problem with my connection. The only thing I can possibly think of which may have caused an interruption in using the Xbox one is an update that I did on the xbox a few days ago. It worked for around 3 nights
    after the update, then I've had all these issues today with being unable to log in / connect to xbox live.

    I am not sure if this is helpful at all, but when I booted up the xbox for the first time today (before noticing these issues), red dead redemption opened up straight away... without taking me to the homescreen on the initial start up of the xbox. Then
    the screen flickered and returned to home. However, I am sure I saved and turned the console off properly the night before.

    A bug, perhaps?

    Hey there Alex,

    Sorry to hear you are running into these problems. When receiving that error message it means that there's a network issue in connecting to the Xbox Live service. Go ahead and take a look at the following support article for some helpful troubleshooting.

    Now we might be limited of course being that you are connecting to your Schools network and you won't have full access to certain settings.

    If the issue persists, I would advise you contact your Schools IT for further assistance.
