Cant add my child as friend

Thank you for your feedback, I noticed that you are experiencing an issue with not being able to adjust member permissions in Family Safety.



Based on the information you have provided, it appears that this issue may not be related to Family Safety, and the fact that the Minecraft game is restricted to ages 10+ for that classification may be the root cause of the issue.



Additionally, if your child is an administrator account himself, you are not able to control his computer through Family Safety.

Hello there,

You cannot transfer the username or friends list onto the second account, as they are separate accounts, but on the second account you could re-add the same list of friends. As for Gamertag, you will need to create a unique name for the second account.

Can I add friends who on my parent account to my childs account in a list form and upload them all at once or does my son have the add them one at a time on his child account?

Yes, this is how I was able to add the child as a friend. This plan does not seem to work, however, with non-family friends. He sends the friend invite, but they do not receive it.

As a backup plan I am just having them add me then add my kid’s gt through my friends list. Trying that now.

Can you give us a bit more information. Could you post the error code here please and also give us more informatino on the exact problem? Have you created an xbox live account for the child? Is your account a family account etc?
