Can't add credit card to my account

I tried purchasing some Call of Duty coins last night on my Xbox account, and my purchase kept being declined. I tried again on the MS Store app on my PC and it was declined. I was trying to use the same CC that I have had on my account and have never had a problem before. I deleted the CC and now when I try to add it back as a payment option I keep getting "Check the info you entered. It doesn't match the info for this card." I know that the info I'm putting in is correct. I called customer support and they are saying that this card has exceeded the number of accounts that it can be associated with. I don't understand this, I only have one account and this just started happening last night when I've never had a problem before.

Oh, and 1more thing, is it possible to add new credit card in Microsoft Billing and Account Managment page? If it so how? I could try to add my credit card there, meybe it would work. If no, is there a way how to cofigure removed credit card? On that page
my credit card is in (removed) option, meybe its that problem, you can't add same credit card anymore once deleted? Thanks.

I called my bank, there is no problem with my card. I was able to use it on Steam with no problem and I used it at several stores with no problem. It’s Microsoft that is saying that it has exceeded the number of accounts that it is associated with out of the blue, and I only have one Microsoft account. The card is fine, it’s something that Microsoft has done and I don’t know why.

To be fair only your bank will be able to provide better information about what's going on. When a payment method is rejected out of the blue, it's usually a problem from the bank's end.

Unfortunately if support said that, then I can only advise you try a different card or add the card to a PayPal account and use that.
