Can't add another account/profile to XBOX Series X.

To download your profile on an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console, follow the instructions on here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-profile/manage-account/add-remove-account-xbox-one

What games are you transferring? Which consoles are involved? If it's transferring from, say, a Series X/S to an Xbox One, then it may be because the games are S/X versions.

As to the expansion pack, I believe that is only available to the account that bought it and the console that account is on...it can't be transferred to another account on another console

If you don’t want to delete any associated data with the account/profile, be sure to select Delete profile only, then all your saved games and achievements won’t be affected.

Same. My friend has both and Xbox gamertag (on Series X) and a PC. Owns both versions. I'm on Series X and we can't play unless he's on Xbox. Can't add his Origin ID to my EA friends. Not sure what to do.

Try connecting your console to another network and see if the same issue occurs. You can set up your smartphone as a mobile hotspot and connect your console to that network.
