Can't add account to Xbox One

    Can't add account to Xbox One


    I cannot add account to my Xbox (I had deleted it owing to it not logging in successfully).

    When I click add account, it goes to grey spinning wheel then back the Add Account Sidebar. I did all resets and troubleshooting as found here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-sign-in/2631bfc3-3fba-4bed-a970-7f7b393254ef

    I then tried to add account to 2 other Xboxes (one in a different location) and still the same issue.

    I am in the UAE - is this a server issue or does anyone have any ideas to fix?

    Set up my phone as a hotspot and was able to connect and sign-in through that! Thank you so much for the help!

    Hello Roddgy,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. This is definitely a tough issue to troubleshoot since a factory reset did nothing, and there is no error code/message to reference. By any chance, have you already tried connecting your console to a different
    network? A different home network would be ideal, but you can test out a hotspot if that is all you have.

    One other thing to consider is that you may come across issues/bugs if you are part of the preview program. Are you an insider member? If so, you should

    report this issue     through the insider hub, as well as to the

    insider reddit    . Factory resets do not do much to preview consoles.
