    Can't activate "fly" icon on Microsoft Flight Simulator


    Recently purchased XBOX series X, Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe 40th edition and Velocity One hardware. When I boot up the simulator it tells me that I am on line and signed in, but when I activate the "fly" icon for a new flight, it tells me that I am off line. Very frustrated. Ready to return the whole setup. Please advise.

    Did you double check if maybe the Microsoft Flight simulator icon/app appears via Windows search?
    (Press windows key and start typing " Microsoft Flight Simulator", if yes, press right-click on in, and select delete

    Restart your PC and try again.

    Did you also check if the files for flight simulator was deleted from WindowsApps / XboxGames folder?
