    I have an Xbox account. It has all my games on it and dlc. I forgot password and can’t get it back.

    They key being: I changed mobile number. The option to send code to email address works but puts me into password recovery. The problem with this it asks for my old credit card that I do not have I’ve cut it up. I have the last 4 digits but not expiry date. No documents either. So it gets rejected.

    So I can phone Microsoft? No I cant. Password issues don’t have phone support so I changed issue on form and when I talked to someone they hung up!

    There is no on line support. I can only talk to automated agent who can only advise me to go to password recovery.

    This is so frustrating as it should be an easy fix I have a passport and drivers licence but apparently as I’ve changed mobile numbers I’ve lost hundreds of pounds worth or games and dlc not to mention all of my progress?

    I’ve even tried phoning old number but it’s been made obsolete.

    What can I do? Why is there not a number where I can ring for help? Why can’t I talk to an agent on line? The website doesn’t give an option but mentions it! In UK

    If you experience any issues requesting a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website, go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue.

    I forgot the password to my e.mail address but it sends a code to my text which I enter but it asks for recovery code which doesn’t work and no other alternative way. How can I get a recovery code? Or access without one?

    Cannot recover account to cancel subscription

    I’ve called numerous times each time is without account access they can’t help me. Of course we can’t gain recovery of account so they can’t access anything without the codes they send. So back to my bank to ask them to take it further now. I’m fuming they’re quick to stop access to accounts but don’t stop subscriptions knowing full well you can’t use the account! Disgusting tbh.

    Yeah it doesn’t let me add a third verification option. It only sends me to account recovery which doesn’t work thanks to 2FA. Just curious if you guys can’t help then who can? I’ve tried Microsoft support and they also sent me to account recovery. I haven’t been able to get on the phone with them since when I call or try to get access to a call it says that texts and calls aren’t supported for this issue. Is there any way this can be solved? I just want to re-gain access to an old account.

    What to do if my email has been used to make 2 Xbox accounts?

    The thing is I don’t have access to the email used when creating the original Xbox account, the account was created around 9 years ago and my email has changed from the one used on my Xbox account. It was never an issue as the password was always working. I do have access to the recovery email but there hasn’t been an email there detailing security changes. What should I do moving forward? Im not sure how to cancel my Xbox game pass subscription as I can’t login to the original account to cancel it.
