Cant access my settings

I cannot get to my settings on my microsoft account. It keeps sending me back to the same page everytime I try. My friend was trying to help me and showed me his screen so it works for him but I dont know why mine is not working. The main reason i'm trying to get to my settings is I am trying to join my friends minecraft server on realms but it gives me the same thing everytime I try to join which is "You cannot play on realms because of how your microsoft account is set up." If I could get help with this subject that would be great. Thank you for your time.

According to the explanation you have provided, I believe that you have a child account and in order to resolve your issue, you will need to get permission from an adult account.

ALso cant access profile, account, or privacy in my settings on the 360.

Maybe you have to set up your account as a child and that's why you're redirecting.

Is this a child account Thats the only way I could see this showing up? Have you tried to promote child to adult account?https://support.xbox.com/en-US/browse/my-account/manage-account/Child accounts
