    Can't access my profile on the 360 after I changed my gamertag.


    So on the 8th of January, which was on a Monday in 2018, I decided to change my Xbox Live gamertag that I had for almost 5 years. I decided to go on my 360 to play some Halo 3 multiplayer only to find out that I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live because
    of a account security verification process or something like that. Went through all the steps, and confirmed my profile, but then I get another prompt saying that "this account cannot sign in to Xbox Live. To fix this, redownload it." Is this implying that
    even though I added security and verified it on my account, I'd have to redownload my profile? I'm pretty worried as I have put way to much dedication into my games, and achievements and I just hope I don't have to start over! Any help is extremely appreciated!!

    Downloading Profile Problems

    I'm getting error code 80151006. This happened when I changed my gamertag on my new 360. My old gamertag and profile downloaded just fine on the new console but now that I changed it I can't download it. I've also tried to download my profile with my new
    gamertag on my old console, it also will not download and I get the same error code.

    Can't login to XBox LIVE after changing gamertag

    Hi there,

    I've recently changed my gamertag from "Player12345..." to "SeitanRules", on my Windows Phone 7 Xbox Live Extras app. After doing so, I no longer have access do my Xbox Live account on my console, and can't access my save games. I've tried to download my
    profile again but I keep getting an error message:

    "Sorry, XBox LIVE profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later

    8015190E

    (the first time I've had this error it had the "8007274C" code)

    Any help appreciated!

    No you won't lose any progress, just delete the profile off of the console and re-download it.

    I'm getting error code 80151006. This happened when I changed my gamertag on my new 360. My old gamertag and profile downloaded just fine on the new console but now that I changed it I can't download it. I've also tried to download my profile with my new

    I downloaded my profile onto my cousins Xbox 360. The profile. and contents where successfully installed. Meaning it could be down to the profile its self

    After looking through posts. I have noticed that some people could dowload their other gamer profiles, but not their main ones. However, they did change their email address associated with their Gamertag. And this may be the problem. I can't see the problem
    been down to the Xbox One, as my profile was last on the Xbox one and still is.

    This is why I want to ask, Have you been trying or have you changed your email address connected to your Gamertag?

    Quick question (Xbox Ambassador)

    Yes that's correct but I can't actually access the Ambassador section because I changed my gamertag. In the past whenever an Ambassador changed his/her gamertag they needed to inform the Ambassador staff (or by email) so their profile could be updated within
    their system.

    Maybe that's changed now as I haven't been on for a couple of months however, I could be wrong.
