It just says I have put the wrong credentials in too many times.

The telephone number attached to the account is an old one so I can’t get in with that path.

So I tried the account recovery path and it doesn’t seem to have worked.

Not sure what else I can do.

We paid good money for the game and haven’t been able to play all weekend.

The boy is a bit gutted.

When you say you are unable to access your Microsoft account. Please can you tell me what message comes up when you try and access it?

I suspect, because you have mentioned that you have gone through the recovery process, that you have forgotten your Microsoft account password. Is this true?

I’m not using a child’s account no, I’ve looked on the link and can’t see anything relating to parental controls?

You can’t change an child account to an adult account. Even when the parent gives “permission” it will not let you. You will have to wait until the account is eligible to be an adult.

I’ve called numerous times each time is without account access they can’t help me. Of course we can’t gain recovery of account so they can’t access anything without the codes they send. So back to my bank to ask them to take it further now. I’m fuming they’re quick to stop access to accounts but don’t stop subscriptions knowing full well you can’t use the account! Disgusting tbh.
