    Can't access my DLC after gamertag change


    I recently changed my gamertag from e5154 to chillpgn64 and tonight i tried to get on fallout new vegas only to find all of my DLC has been uninstalled. I bought the ultimate edition on CD so i should not have this issue. I want it fixed now.

    Is there any way to change the email associated with my gamertag without access to the email ?

    So there's seriously no way to change my email without having access to the current one? that seems a little stupid, what if someone had hacked my account and then changed the email? I'm sure there must be a way to use information relating to the gamertag
    itself to recover the gamertag and change the email in that case, and if so why can't such a method be used here ?

    I really don't feel like losing all my paid for dlc/time spent on this account I can prove I own.

    Have you recently changed consoles?

    DLC is tied to the gamertag AND console originally downloaded to.

    If you have moved your HDD to a new console since, a license transfer is required, and the original gamertag would need to do it.

    If the gamertag that downloaded the DLC in the first place is not accessible then the DLC is unusable.

    No you won't lose any progress, just delete the profile off of the console and re-download it.

    Why $13 to change the gamertag? It should be less!

    The price is cheaper on PlayStation because there's several risks involved in changing your PSN ID,including potentially losing access to any dlc you've paid for on certain games.Plus if you change your PSN ID it will only show in games made after April
    2018 unless they've changed that,where as your xbox gamertag would be changed everywhere.

    No, you can't change your gamertag for free after you already changed it
