Can't access games bought on Games for Windows Marketplace

Hi there,

Today when I was trying to reinstall a game that I had previously purchased from GFWM, I kept getting the purchase history retrieval error, so I followed the official advice (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-freezes/81757a94-6137-46d6-8dd8-aef09fce1fa6) on
this forum and tried to reinstall GFWM. Unfortunately the instructions given were either out or date or incorrect, as I can no longer download the GFWM client from the link. I now have no way to access the games I had previously bought from GFWM, nor see my
purchase history.

Is there any way to transfer those games over to Steam?

Thanks ngocphi. Yes I'm aware that aoeo is PC only and I have games for windows client installed and I access the marketplace through games for windows marketplace. Yet, that region message is still weird. I hope Xbox support can clarify. Thanks

I bought Windows 8 at launch. I use my wired Xbox 360 controller to play games on Steam. I'm assuming you'll be able to play GFWL games too. I'm not sure if you have to be connected to the internet to unlock achievements. You can't play Windows Phone games.
There's a marketplace where you can buy games. There's also a couple of free games. I hope that answered a few of your questions.
