    Can't access game directory for XGP PC games


    Hello, I'm trying to access my directory for PREY to edit the config as the game won't enable me to play at 1080p in fullscreen. When I try to access the install location for all my XGP games I get an access denied error.

    Is this intentional? Can I bypass this as a fix?

    I don't think keeping users out of the games directory is a good idea.

    Just to point out, I'm not familiar with the settings for Prey, so I'm not sure if this will work.

    To gain access permissions for the hidden Windows Apps folder you should follow

    Just for Clarity, I am playing with dual monitors so the game sets itself to Borderless windowed at 4K resolution.

    This gives me a poor framerate, so I turned the resolution down, but this gives me a window about a quarter size of my screen.

    The game does not allow me to select a fullscreen option (presumedly because I have multiple monitors).

    The only fix I've seen invloves editing the Config file of the game to manually enable fullscreen at the proper resolution but when I try to access the Windows Apps folder in my install location I get an access denied error.

    it's not a mystake, you can change the default language in the game files but we can't access the installation folder with XGP...

    Microsoft should allow us to go in install folder to switch lang, release a fix for this platform related problem or remove the lang available on game page.
