Can't access 360 Live via Backwards Compatibility or Xbox 360

As the subject says, I can't access the Xbox 360 version of Live on either my Series X or Xbox 360. I've tried deleting profiles, clearing my local 360 storage, switching my wifi from my router to the mobile hotspot on my phone. Nothing. All the same result. Now I'm stuck with a 360 with no profiles because I can't access Live and all my 360 games have lost all their progress because I can't redownload the account I had with it all. I did write down the error code "8015190E".

Troubleshooting my network would reach the internet just fine on my 360 but it would stop after it hits Live and my Series X Live works just fine.

Would greatly appreciate any help, I just wanna play Red Dead Redemption.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

These messages may mean one of the following:

1. There's a temporary problem with the Xbox Live service.

2. Your Xbox Live account has been temporarily blocked because the system detected suspicious activity.

3. The profile stored on your Xbox 360 console is corrupt.

4. Another profile has signed in.

Kindly try the following steps on your Xbox 360 console:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.

2. Go to Settings and select System Settings.

3. Select Storage.

4. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

5. Select Clear System Cache.

6. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

7. Restart your Xbox 360 console.

8. Disconnect your modem and router if you have one. Wait for one minute and then plug it back in and turn it on.

On your Xbox Series X perform a reset keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If i got a Xbox 360 game from live with gold, it's will be only a backward compatible? I can't play on Xbox 360?

Yes to both questions.

It's only the xbox 360 store that is closing.

You'll still be able to access it to buy backwards compatible games via a xbox one/series console.

I, as well, am having this problem. However, i live in the U.S. and I've previously purchased dark souls 1 on 360 and yet when i try to download it via the backwards compatibility it says, "Try buying on Xbox.com or Xbox 360. At the moment, this can't be
purchased on xbox one (0x8c 150020)

The solution has already been provided above. You cannot use Microsoft currency unless you are physically on a console (Xbox 360 or Xbox One). The issue here is that Backwards Compatible games can only be downloaded from a 360 console or via the Xbox.com
Marketplace which only accepts valid payment options (Credit/Debit cards, PayPal, etc.). Since you can't access the Xbox 360 Marketplace via the Xbox One, you will not be able to purchase 360 games with Microsoft currency via the Xbox One console.
