    Hello Community!

    I wanted to purchase some Games from the Xbox Live marketplace for my Xbox One.

    The only way to do this (in Germany so far) is to buy with a creditcard.

    My friend is working in a "GameStop" store and he told me i can order a Prepaid CreditCard.

    So after i recieved my new Visa CreditCard i tried to add this one to my Xbox Live account but then the system say that my Cardnumber and other stuff is not valid...

    Can someone help me?

    Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

    Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

    Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.

    I have used prepaid visa/mastercards in the past and they have worked. I never tried for a gold sub though because I would never pay full retail price for a gold sub

    Does the credit card allow you to put in a valid address and name? Microsoft does require that to input the card into the system. if it does then you can go on the website for the card and update that info and then you should be able to put it on your account.

    Prepaid VISA/Mastercard cards--with very few exceptions--cannot be used to sign up for subscription services.

    if it's a prepaid visa that would be why

    Your card must be in the same region as your account region

    If it's a prepaid visa you must turn on Online transactions and reoccurring purchasing and have billing info registered on the vendors site

    AlsoAlso if the prepaid card isn't working still then you are going to have to get another card with prepaid cards it's 80% chance of not working you can only guess and pray

    And ask Support sometimes to help add it

    could be some very serious misunderstanding here. A prepaid subscription card cannot BE renewed because it is only worth the time that the card says it's for.

    if it's a prepaid visa/mc credit card then the autorenew CAN be turned on for that payment method as long as it's valid

    my visa card keeps declining on xbox and it say that it wasn’t authorized but my visa is activated

    What type of miss is it

    A real visa or a prepaid visa

    A real visa contact your bank and tell them to approve it

    If prepaid well assign billing info a d turn on reoccurring purchases and online transactions and hope for the best
