    Cannot use marketplace or save character in Minecraft


    I have Minecraft bought & installed for child's account, and Marketplace does not work. It just gives error code `D-0,`. Character cannot be saved or shown, it just shows a spinner. I'm pretty sure this is somehow related to Xbox app not working properly either, it just keeps saying `Cannot show content Cannot use marketplace or save character in Minecraft :(`.

    I have already had session with Xbox support to confirm account settings that they should be correct, but unfortunately it did not help. On the same machine, on my own account, everything works with my copy of the game just fine, so this is somehow related to the account.

    Hello cmouse,

    According to this article, the marketplace error within Minecraft is an in-game issue which would require you to seek support from Mojang. Please submit a request at the Minecraft Help Center for the Minecraft problem.

    As for the Xbox app error, have you completed these troubleshooting steps below:

    Repair the app in Windows by selecting Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Then, select the app you want to fix > Advanced options > Repair if it's available, and if that doesn't work select Reset.

    If you continue to have problems launching the Xbox app, we recommend submitting feedback for the app in the Feedback hub by selecting Start > Feedback Hub > Report a Problem.

    Note: The Dressing Room is exclusive to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

    How to use the Dressing Room in Minecraft

    Character creator items

    If you are looking to add character creator items to your Minecraft character, follow these steps:

    Start Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. 

    Select Dressing Room. 

    Select the character slot you want to edit or a new one. 

    Select Edit Character. 

    Open the Body or Style tab. 

    Find the item in the proper section. 

    Click Equip.

    How to equip classic skins in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

    If you instead want to use a classic skin from something you purchased in the Marketplace, do the following:

    Start Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

    Select Dressing Room.

    Select the character slot you want to change the skin of or a new one.

    Select Edit Character.

    Select Classic Skins on the left bar.

    Browse through and select the skin you want to use.

    Click Equip.

    Note: Classic skins cannot be customized with character creator items.

    If you're still experiencing issues, go into the game settings, log out of your Minecraft account, and then log back in to resync your account.

If Minecraft doesn't recognize your skin, then go to the main Minecraft Settings page, find the General tab, and make sure "Only Allow Trusted Skins" is toggled off.

    The unfortunate part about playing Minecraft Dungeons on PC is that there are no cross-save, crossplay, or cloud saving. So if you play on PC 1, you'll have to make another character on PC 2. You cannot transfer your saves between platforms as well - such

    Thank your for posting on the Xbox forums.

    Based on the Minecraft Marketplace FAQ, an Xbox Live account can be used to save purchases you make directly from the in-game Minecraft Store/Marketplace. Any purchases made through the Apple Store, would only be accessible when playing Minecraft on the
    iPad and you would need to contact Apple Support for any billing issues with their Store. If you have not made an Xbox Live Account using the respective Microsoft Accounts, I suggest you do so here https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/minecraft/sign-up
    as that could be the issue. Either way, the Xbox Live account will only save purchases made directly from the in-game Minecraft Store.
