Cannot use all characters in Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition (Xbox one S)

I hope this is the right place to post this!

I recently bought KI: Definitive Edition and according to the game description I should be able to use all characters to play (local ,multiplayer), but not all characters are unlocked. For example, when I try to use Gargos or Shadow Jago, I am directed
to purchase the Definitive Edition, Season 3, or Season 3 combos. I made sure I gave enough time for the game to completely install and have restarted my Xbox, but the characters are still not available to use.

    :)

    Killer Instinct Definitive Edition Disc

I own the Killer Instinct Definitive Edition on disc and have it installed on my XBox One along with all characters however I am not able to play any of them. All characters are grayed out. Why can't I play them even if the disc is in?

Why does MS Store still want to charge me for Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition - XBox One even though I purchased Definitive

Hi SmokeDaBeastman, my name is Rodrigo. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

This is just a nomenclature for the bundle.

Since you have available in your account all the add-ons from the Definitive Edition, everything is normal, you have the complete version of the game.

"The Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition will replace all paid versions of Killer Instinct, such as the Definitive Edition… and the good news is that anyone who has bought Premium content for the previous versions of Killer Instinct (Editions, Fighters, etc.) will get upgraded to the Anniversary Edition for free!"

How do I get the other characters in Killer Instinct Definitive Edition

Sorry it took me so long to respond back, I had a family crisis to deal with. I have both Killer Instinct Standard Edition and Killer Instinct Definitive Edition installed on my PC, but I still cannot find the the DLC add-ons on my PC. If you have anymore suggestions then I am more than happy to try them out.
