Have you tried using different headsets on the controller? Or different controllers to determine whether it is your headset or possibly the controller itself. I recommend you safely power down the console and then unplug it from the power source. Remove
the batteries from your controller and use a USB cable to plug the controller directly to the console with the headset plugged in. Then plug the console back in after waiting a minute or two. Use the controllers power button to power up the console (you can
put the batteries back and unplug it once you get to the home screen). Check to see if that helps with the headset issue. Let us know with a reply

Thank you for reaching out to us today. From what I have heard, this is a known issue at the moment happening with some consoles. There is no estimated time frame as to when this will be resolved. However, you may want to try
contacting support to report the issue. Some sites are taking information from customers that are having this issue.

Also, If you are using straight plug in with the 3.5mm jack, try getting an adapter. This has been known to help with some of the third party headsets used.

Why should we have to buy a new part to use a headset? This has been a common problem with this unit for a long time. While troubleshooting my own system, i saw complaints and problems going back years. Buyer beware...
