    Cannot unisntall Sea of thieves and update stuck


    Hi,

    i've got a problem with sea of thieves on xbox game launcher. There is 2 things. The game takes 200 Go of space on one of my disk, and i can't delete it, whatever i do. Another thing, sea of thives is marked as updating and is stuck at 16%, i cannot stop it.

    What i've try is: -using the uninstall system of windows (it says uninstalling but never does), i've tried to uninstall the file but i'm missing access, giving me access on the folder do not seem to give me rights for folders inside it (and there is hundreds of them). About the update, it's stuck, i cannot stop the update nor pause it.

    Please help, it's making my pc slow and use way to much space.

    To help you resolve this issue, I would like to ask you a few questions. Please answer them as best as you can.



    - What is the model and capacity of your disk?

    - How much free space do you have on your disk?

    - Have you tried using the Xbox app or the Microsoft Store app to uninstall or manage the game?

    - Have you tried running the Windows troubleshooter for apps and games?

    - Have you tried restarting your computer or signing out and back in to your Xbox account?

    Here are some possible solutions that you can try:



    - Run the Microsoft Defender offline scan

    - Uninstall and reinstall the gaming services

    Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

    1. Press the Start button on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
    2. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

      get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
    3. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

      start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
    4. Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
    5. Restart your device and try to install the game again.

    - Repair the game

    1. Open the Xbox app for Windows.
    2. In My Library, select the game title.
    3. Select the More options (…) button and choose Manage.
    4. Select Files and then Verify and repair.

    - Give admin access to the game and uninstall it

    1. Open Microsoft Store
    2. Click the 3 dots (...) on the right side
    3. My Library
    4. Choose Sea of Thieves
    5. Pin it to Start
    6. Click The Windows Start button.
    7. Right click on Sea of Thieves then Uninstall it

    Error 0x80070015 when trying to install Sea of Thieves on a different drive.

    It says it cannot move sea of thieves and gives me the error code 0x80073d0d.
