Discus and support cannot stream on my PC in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; hi, i cant stream using my PC even though my xbox and PC are both connected, i still get achievement notifications but i cant seem to stream on my PC...     hi, i cant stream using my PC even though my xbox and PC are both connected, i still get achievement notifications but i cant seem to stream on my PC

    i get this message when trying:

    we were unable to connect to your console. make sure the console is still on and connected to the same network as this device

    You may also want to try unregistering your Xbox from your account, then registering it again.

    Hi Ayub,

    I believe what Chris was referring to was the registration of the console's serial number on your account from your devices section of your Microsoft account since we've seen instances where this does help.

    Go here
    https://support.microsoft.com/devices    , sign in and then register your device using the serial number. If you have it already registered, remove it and just simply re-add the device to your account.

    Also, I've personally never connected the Xbox One to a Windows 10 PC through the app, but I have connected the Xbox to the mobile app and there is a way to disconnect from the Connect panel once the Xbox connects to the PC. If it did indeed connect but
    streaming doesn't work, disconnect the console from the PC and try again after restarting both.

    Is your PC and Xbox One on the same subnetwork and wifi band? (2.4GHz or 5GHz)

    Does the Xbox app ask for the Xbox One's IP address or does it simply just give you that error message?
