Cannot sign my Microsoft account into my Xbox account on new ASUS computer Windows 11

Hello Georges, thank you for replying to my question. Yes I have Windows 11 version 21H2. I unfortunately can't download the Xbox companion app due to the problem of being unable to sign into a Microsoft account on my computer. I am able to sign into my Microsoft account on the Xbox and Microsoft website its just the apps I have trouble signing in to.

I am having the exact same problem! Updated to Windows 8.1 and now I cannot sign into my xbox live account OR the entire computer freezes when trying to go to games or any microsoft game. I am starting to wonder if this is a new update bug that needs to
be fixed or something!!

So I'm using Windows 11, it's a brand new computer - I also just verified that everything is working on my Desktop computer.

I have done everything you've instructed and it has not resolved my issue - I am still getting the same error.

- Windows fully updated

- Windows store programs updated

- Gaming services repaired and reset

- Xbox app repaired and reset

- WSReset.exe ran and completed.

Signed back into the account on the Windows Store and Xbox with no success

Microsoft Version: Windows 10 Pro; Version: 22h2

Xbox App Version: 2309.1001.3.0

Creating a new User Account did not work on my computer. I did log into my account on another windows 10 computer and the xbox app works just fine on that PC.
