Cannot sign into Xbox live on the 360 [Error 801540A9]

So recently I bought an Xbox 360 during this pandemic, and I am unable to sign in. I should probably preface this with the fact that I have made the account on not a 360, and am signing in there for the first time (if that is important).

Anyways, I keep getting the error 801540A9.

I never had 2FA on (I tried turning it on and using the app password, then turning it off again to no avail). This account also does not have a parent/child account thing going on. I also tried waiting a few days and seeing if that might fix the issue; it did not. Basically, anything that I found online did not help unfortunately.

I am able to connect to Xbox live as I was able to log on with another account I had, but I would like to use this one (aka the one I'm on right now) as it has progress/other stuff that I want.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. This is an Xbox Series X console. The error happens when playing backwards compatible games. I had the same a similar problem in January of this year.

2. The console is not second hand. I'm the only user.

3. Yes, of course.

Under network settings, it says everything is fine. It's connected to the internet. It's connected to Xbox Live. NAT is open. When I play XSX or One games, there's no issue.

The problem is when connecting to Xbox Live through the 360 emulator. I got the error 8015190a. Support told me to delete the profile and clear the cache. Following that, whenever I boot a 360 game, it says "getting your Xbox 360 info". The loading bar does not move. After a couple of minutes, the screen fades to black and the game starts. Opening the guide shows that there's no profile. If I try to download a profile, it says "cannot connect to Xbox Live". There is no error code.

Some extra details:

In January I had the error 801540A9. This time the error was 8015190a. In both instances I was advised to clear the cache. In both instances, I was unable to redownload the profile (with some slight differences).

With the error 801540A9, I could at least access the sign in menu. I could enter my email and password, but the profile would fail to download.

With the error 8015190a, I am unable to enter my email and password.

I'm sorry to hear this is happening. We'll be glad to assist you further with this, I do have a question I would like to clarify. Since you're attempting to play this game on the Xbox One and it's asking you to sign in to your 360 profile, do you attempt
to download a complete different profile from the one you're signed in to the Xbox one? Reason I ask this is a common thing that happens when It prompts to have you download the profile on what appears to be the '360 dashboard' on the Xbox one you just need
to re-download the profile you have/ are signed in on the Xbox One.

Now, if you're trying to sign in and it is the same account for Xbox one and the 360 and it's prompting you this error code then this troubleshooting article may help further
