Cannot Sign Into Xbox App with Microsoft Account

Hello, I'm having an issue with my Xbox app on my PC. I cannot sign into my Microsoft account. When I open the app, I don't get a sign in screen or anything. It brings me to the homepage with my games and the games available. But when I try to sign in, the sign in window pops up and says "please wait" and flickers three times and then it just closes. I doesn't seem to be allowing me to sign in. I am unable to play any of my games because of this. I also noticed that my Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker is missing from my user files in my file explorer. I could really use some help here.

I signed out on Microsoft Store App, and then signed back in using the same Microsoft account, but I cannot sign in on Xbox App it says, "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox live " and gives this error number: 0x8015DC0B.

Alright, but I cannot sign in, unfortunately. When I press the sign-in button for "Microsoft account" in Xbox app settings under Account, it just doesn't do anything. No error code, no nothing.

Hey Josef, I was able to completely uninstall the Xbox app via Windows Powershell and reinstalled it through the Microsoft store. Everything is running perfectly now. Thank you!

That's strange, I can advise you 2 things more to try:

1. Try reinstalling the Microsoft store and all its components, use directly the method 2 from this thread:

2. Perform an in-place upgrade, in case the above doesn't work. Could be that some dependencies for Xbox identity provider are missing (don't worry, your content will remain)
