Cannot Sign Into or Download Profile onto Xbox 360

Before I removed my profile from my Xbox 360 as a troubleshooting step, I was getting an error message 80151103. I verified my password was correct and it was 11 digits long.

Regardless, kept getting the same error message. Thinking it was an issue with the profile on the 360, I felt the prudent option was to delete the profile and redownload it. I put in my email and password and it starts to redownload my profile but stops halfway and gives me the same error message.

I changed my password, verified it was under 12 characters, and 2FA is not enabled on my account. Despite all of this, the Xbox 360 gives me the same error message after starting the profile download. My account is fine. I am in good standing. I don't know why I can't download my profile.

Yes. I can log in there, but need to log onto to the xbox 360 to play games and access other apps. I cannot download the profile onto the xbox 360.

Same problem here, going on 34 hours now

Mine just worked. Only difference? I turned recurring billing back on for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I had suspended it but it was set to expire tonight at midnight. I only tried to get my 360 working after I had suspended my Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Even though my Xbox Live was never actually suspended, I was unable to get the credentials working as per the error message listed in my initial post. Just today, after trying a few other workarounds, I decided to go to microsoft.account and turn recurring billing for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and the very next try the profile download worked. I do NOT think this is intended as I have never seen any requirements for Xbox Live Gold for Profile Downloads as that feature is available for Silver accounts as far as I know. I reported it to XboxSupport on twitter but considering they don't do Xbox 360 support, I do not think this is an issue anybody at Microsoft is going to look into. As far as I can tell, you must have an active Xbox Live Gold account that is set to recurring in order to download your profile on an Xbox 360(as well as have a password with 12 characters or less, have 2fa turned off, etc).

I did as you suggested and am still have sign in issues with GFWL. I also still cannot download my profile onto my xbox

Also do any of your other xboxes or friends have your profile downloaded onto their consoles as signing into another 360 will sign you out of the one you're on.
