Cannot sign in or install games on PC Game Pass

Let’s try some steps to isolate the issue. Kindly dlete all files in C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache, and then reboot your pc.

This will only rescan all your downloaded files in just a few minutes then open the app again.

Game Pass for PC is correct.

Signed into Xbox (Beta) with my account that has Game Pass for PC.

Signed into Microsoft Store with same account.

Download/install hangs and eventually fails- never passing 0%

Now that you said, I really cannot find Assassins Creed Origins or other Ubisoft games if I search it on the "Xbox Game pass" tab of the Xbox app.

Apparently they are only available for the console Game Pass or for cloud gaming for PC users that have Game Pass Ultimate.

PC users that have PC Game Pass are not able to install and play them on the computer.

Game Pass Ultimate benefits can only be shared on consoles. You cannot gain any benefits or use on PC unless you are signed into the account that purchased Game Pass Ultimate.

Thank you. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox App and Windows Store. I did a repair and reset of both apps while signed out. I did the Power Shell reset of the Windows Store.

I checked all updates were installed on my PC.

I also discovered that I cannot play a game that I own. Same error as the game pass games. So it looks like Forza 7 (own) and my Game Pass Games will not launch on PC.
