    Hi,

    I upgraded to windows 10, last night. Since then, I am unable to play Age of Empires 2. When I try to run the game I get an error message: "please login with administrator privileges." I am the sole user and administrator.

    I've tried to "run as administrator" and make sure that I have full control over privileges for the game. I still cannot get it to run.

    It worked fine on Windows 8.1.

    Is there a solution for this?

    Cannot login xbox after a recent windows update. Cannot login Age of empires definitive edition or Microsoft Solitaire games.

    Age of empires would please me no end, spent many hours playing age of empires 2, love that game

    Same thing is happening to me.. seems like there is no answer yet. there is only one user to my computer AKA i am the admin and still wont work.

    watch this and you will see how easy Age of empires was to control with the standard Playstation 2 controller. Age of empires was licensed by Sony in 1999 and produced by Konami they would need to procure the license for it and hold the rights to all age of
    empires barring PC versions as the original Xbox was not released till 2002 just like EA own the legal rights to all Porsche cars accross all platfors thats why there are no porsche's in Forza 4 ......
