Cannot register for Rewards Account even though having active Live Gold

    Cannot register for Rewards Account even though having active Live Gold


    Had chat with Xbox support person. We checked and verified that everything is working and good with the account.

    Rewards websites recommended to wait up to 96 hours and I did however, it's still showing that I cannot create an Xbox Live Rewards Account even though I also have Xbox Live Gold.

    Whenever I try to join it shows following:

    We're Sorry.
    Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because you need an Xbox Live account to join Xbox Live Rewards. Just follow these simple steps:

    Step 1: Connect to your Xbox One or Xbox 360

    Step 2: Join Xbox Live*

    Step 3: Come back and sign up for Xbox Live Rewards

    If you have already taken the steps listed, please try again soon.

    *After you create an Xbox Live account, it can take up to 96 hours for you to be able to join Xbox Live Rewards. If it has been over 96 hours and you still see this message, please contact Xbox Live
    Rewards support using one of the methods here    .

    Can someone please help?

    Also, I got my xbox one s recently and would be missing out on 50000 rewards point credit as it didn't let me create the account yet Cannot register for Rewards Account even though having active Live Gold :( Can you please resolve it as well. Thank you.

    Xbox One Live Gold subscribed to but not working

    Hi, I posted this 5 days ago and no support response. I still cannot play online games even though my account says that my Live Gold account is active.

    I am also having same issue. Cannot play online multiplayer. You are not connected to xbox live... Even though I have a gold account.

    Xbox LIVE Rewards System?????

    The Rewards program is a bonus for gold members (and silvers) to earn Microsoft Points for doing certain things on Xbox Live. All you need to do is sign into your account either on Xbox.com or the Rewards website and then register. It's very quick and easy
    to register and doesn't require you to enter any details. It may take a few days for you to become an active Rewards member though.

    As for becoming a Rewards VIP, it's random. It depends on what promotion is currently available and you'll be shown whether you've been selected to become a VIP on your Rewards Dashboard (which you can view on the Rewards website).

    I'm afraid you won't be able to as even though accounts on your home Xbox have access to your Gold membership and Game Pass feature's, you won't be able to claim the Game Pass rewards on any account that doesn't have an active Game Pass subscription
