    Cannot redeem Xbox Live Gold code


    Hi - please help.

    Bought 3 month Gold code. Current subscription expires on 17th December. When I try to redeem 3 month code it does not work, but keeps telling me to add a payment option, which I already have two of.

    Have been advised by Xbox Support that this is because you cannot stack memberships. Is this really correct? Do I really have to wait until it expires to add my new code???

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Have you used Xbox Live Gold on the account that the prepaid code is being redeemed on? The reason we ask is due to the fact that Xbox Live Gold trials cannot be redeemed on an account that has used Xbox
    Live Gold before. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We recommend checking the
    account subscriptions     to make sure the prepaid code was redeemed successfully. Has the account ever used Xbox Live Gold before? Once an account has utilized the Xbox Live Gold subscription, the account cannot redeem prepaid codes for Xbox Live Gold trails.

    Hi there, so was the code for MS currency or was it an Xbox Live Gold subscription? Please note that you cannot use currency added to your account to buy gold subscriptions.

    Have you tried redeeming on the console itself? Steps here:
    support.xbox.com/.../redeem-prepaid-codes

    I believe you can also try at the following link, scroll to the bottom and select 'redeem gift card'

    Cannot download from Xbox gold live. Cannot play games that require Xbox Gold Live, Ask me to buy Xbox gold live when I have a 12 Month paid subscription. Cannot enter manage membership. Cannot enter redeem code. Cannot enter Purchase history.

    It will connect to Xbox live just not Xbox Gold.

    To put it simply my Xbox 360 cannot use the 4 months of Xbox gold live I have in my account.

    When I use a PC I can enter the account and all features and it shows I have 4 months of Xbox gold live to go.

    Everything worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.

    As I mentioned Xbox support cannot fix it.

    2-day trials

    you cannot get gold back.

    ANY type of trials (48 hour/2 week/1 month/etc) are not stackable. so you redeemed a code wed-so either u had it wed/thursday or thursday/friday PLUS the free gold weekend. then now you can redeem another code and have that one.

    once the code is redeemed, it's redeemed and cannot be used again.

    if you didn't use it/internet was out/etc it's still cannot be used again and a refund cannot be processed.
